HOW OUR GLASS WORKTOPS AND SPLASHBACKS ARE MADE
Our bespoke kitchen splashbacks are created using clear toughened glass and a durable colour coating, especially designed and formulated to guarantee a permanent bond to the glass. The coating is applied using a spray technique that builds up the layers to achieve a very high level of opacity. This allows your bespoke splashback to be directly fixed to the wall, for a safe and seamless finish.
Toughened glass, which is created by superheating the raw material followed by a quenching process, is up to four times stronger than standard glass. It is ideal for use behind gas hobs, ranges and AGAs. If broken, total disintegration occurs – as opposed to cracking – to prevent any serious injury.
Digital designs are created using the latest printing equipment and can be applied to our acrylic kitchen splashbacks. The range of designs available is virtually endless and any bespoke design with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch) can be reproduced onto the glass. Our bespoke kitchen splashbacks can be a great way of injecting some colour and personality into a kitchen.
