This wonderful material combines strength and durability with the added piece of mind from a unique antibacterial protection. Silestone is the only quartz material to have an antibacterial agent built in during the manufacturing process: Microban.
The agent Microban inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria which can even be found in the cleanest bathrooms and kitchens. Microban is used in many applications in the food, construction and hospital sectors. As Microban is incorporated into the worktop during the manufacturing process, all surfaces are fully protected.
